Well, this wedding was just unreal! When Mia & Mark asked me to capture their big day, it was an easy yes. I had visited Dubrovnik a few years back with my partner and fell in love with the place, so going back to shoot a wedding in dubrovnik was an absolute dream.
Lets just start by saying it was HOT! So hats off to all of the wedding party wearing suit trousers, bridesmaid dressers and of course Mia in her wedding dress.
I arrived the day before the wedding to get a feel for potential photo spots in the old town dubrovnik and introduce myself to the wedding party.
Jump to the morning of the wedding, I arrived at Mia & Marks hotel to find Mark and the lads enjoying a quick swim down at the pool, while the girls were getting hair and make up done, perks of being in Croatia hey! Mia’s girls were at hand to keep everything running smoothly, and they were great fun to be around, as were the lads.

I had a good idea of how stunning the wedding ceremony at Sponza Palace was going to look, but oh my word, when I stepped inside it was out of this world. What a perfect setting to marry, and will certainly be one for friends and family to remember, but the magic didn’t end there.
After a quick fire portrait session at Sponza Palace we all boarded a boat to sail across to the reception at Villa Rose Kolocep. It was here that I earned my nickname “seasick dan” from the best man. It turns out me, cameras and boats don’t mix well! Anyway, as soon as I stepped foot on land I was fine again, phew.
Villa Rose was set on a beautiful Island off the coast of Dubrovnik, and yet again, it took everyones breath away, with stunning views out to sea, an amazing sunset, and a beautiful setup courtesy of Marcela Ban at D’Inspiration Dubrovnik.
As the sun set, great food was had, heartfelt speeches were heard and the party began! DJmirodubrovnic and Zac The Sax brought the good vibes way into the night and the dance floor was bouncing throughout.

Located within the picturesque landscape of the saddleworth moors, the Saddleworth Hotel offers a stunning location to tie the knot.
We met with Naomi and David a month or so before the wedding to have a good chat over the day and familiarise ourselves with the venue.
Come the wedding morning, at the Saddleworth Hotel, we felt at ease and felt really welcomed by Naomi and David's family, resulting in some beautiful moments in front of camera.
The love from Naomi and David's family shon throughout the day, making our job so easy.
From the stunning outdoor ceremony, to the bouncing dance floor in evening, Naomi and David's wedding at the Saddleworth Hotel was a pleasure to photograph and we wish them all the best for the future.

Back at another great Ribble Valley wedding venue. This time we're at Shireburn Arms to video Tasha & Kyles fun filled wedding.
Tasha & Kyle were an absolute delight all day and the love between them is clear.
The entertainment put on from Wayne, the wedding host, was top drawer. The party was well on it's way during and after the wedding breakfast, but we managed to get some quiet time with Tasha & Kyle, making the most of the magical Shireburn Arms and the surrounding views the Ribble Valley has to offer.
What a cracking day! If you're getting married at The Shireburn Arms, we'd love to back!

Two weeks later, and it’s another Bashall Barn wedding! Perfect.
The lovely Laura and Beth booked us for shorter coverage of the day, photography only. However, as a good will gesture, we decided to add some video coverage too, which you can see above.
The ceremony was beautiful with an emotional entrance. The rain held off in the morning, before the afternoon downpour. Brollies at the ready! Laura & Beth were happy to brave the weather, where we were able to capture some beautiful portrait shots of the happy couple.
Come rain or shine, Bashall Barn won’t disapoint.

Looking at the above portrait, you won’t believe that this was the windiest day ever at Bashall Barn! However, believe us when we say it was crazy. Sara & James didn’t let this get in the way of their day though, and it was a fantastic from start to finish.
The styling of the day fit in great with the surroundings, and the lads were dressed up head to toe in their finest peaky blinders gear. We were even treated to a Peaky style speech from James during the groom prep!
Sara later suprised everyone with some lovely singing after the speeches, it was fantastic!
We love shooting at Bashall Barn, and had a fantastic day.

Holmes Mill Clitheroe Wedding

Wow! What can we say? What a beautiful wedding. Joe & Jess’s wedding at Holmes Mill Clitheroe was fantastic. From start to finish, everybody was so lovely and it was a pleasure to be a part of their day.
This venue is perfect for those looking for something a little different from the abudance of wedding venues in the Ribble Valley.
We absolutely love shooting at Holmes Mill. It's a photographers dream, and to have to have such a great couple to work with was the icing on the cake.
